Chapter Donation Page

Thank you for your interest in the Seneca Park Zoo chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers.

  • We are a 501(3)(c) non-profit volunteer organization.
  • Throughout the year the zookeepers organize and participate in a variety of conservation fundraisers to support some of our favorite organizations. All proceeds from these "Conservation Days" go directly to the organization being supported.
  • In addition, we also maintain a "General Fund" which is used for the following zookeeper support.
    • Enrichment Funds - Funds made available to zookeepers to help purchase enrichment items, for their animals. Distribution is voted on and approved by, our members.
    • Travel and Training Fund - Funds used to assist keepers in traveling to conventions, meetings, and educational seminars.
    • Conservation Donations - Members can submit a "request for funds" to the group to make a donation to a conservation organization that supports the animals we work with, in the field.
    • Emergency Response Donations - Our chapter also sets funds aside to respond to emergency events such as wildfires, oil spills, or extreme weather events and has also supported animal transfers from hurricane and war zones.
PLEASE NOTE - This "General Fund" is only maintained through direct donations and through our animal art sales, art made by the animals of the Seneca Park Zoo. Art can be purchased at our annual "Art Expo", in the gift shop located inside the zoo and coming soon at a Rochester art festival near you.

Please follow our Facebook Page for upcoming events and news.

If you'd like to make a small donation to our general fund, it would be greatly appreciated. You can do so through our PayPal Donation Page.
