"Bill" (Photo by Wayne Smith)
Sunday, May 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This conservation awareness day is a family-friendly event complete with a variety of opportunities to learn about this amazing species, from keeper chats and Biofact stations to crafts and games.

Learn all about the Zoo’s resident white rhino, Bill, the threats against his counterparts in their natural range, and what organizations like the International Rhino Foundation are doing to help save rhinos. Discover what simple actions you can take in your own life to protect this species, including attending an upcoming event hosted by the Zoo’s AAZK chapter, Bowling for Rhinos.

For a donation to rhino conservation, enter drawings to win a one-of-a-kind painting by Bill or an exclusive behind-the-scenes rhino experience.

This event is FREE with Zoo admission.
