Celebrate International Otter Day with us at Seneca Park Zoo on Sunday, May 26. Learn all about otters through training and enrichment demonstrations, keeper chats, Biofacts, and more. Plus, enter drawings to win a painting made by one of the Zoo’s otters or an exclusive behind-the-scenes meet and greet!
Meet with Dr. Caroline DeLong, Associate Professor and Undergraduate Program Director for Psychology at RIT, to learn about Seneca Park Zoo’s partnership with RIT on two very different studies with our resident North American river otters.
Visit interactive stations to discover the different otter species, their unique adaptations for survival, and what you can do in your daily life to preserve aquatic habitats for local animals.
This event is FREE with Zoo admission.
